The first mattress we received had a defective valve and deflated immediately upon inflation. We followed the manufacturers warranty return instructions and received our replacement within days, no charge. Our new mattress worked perfectly on two pack trips with our horses and mules into the trinity alps wilderness last month. A defect is easily forgiven when a prompt solution is provided.
