In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. I ordered this knife for my boyfriend for Christmas. I bought it for him because he owns the same exact knife and he has had it for years and loves it. So I thought buying him another would be nice. So in regards for the review, this knife is excellent and very durable. I was very pleased on how quickly I received my purchase through the mail.
