Product Description:
Use this pad with all car top carrier products. It offers padded, nonskid, roof protection for your vehicle. Place the protection pad between your vehicle and car top carrier before you load it. Have a clean roof and use this pad to protect your vehicle finish. Even if your vehicle with a luggage rack has roof ridges, use the pad to protect the paint between the ridges. Also helps hold the CTC in place while loading. 36"x35"x1/8" Woven mesh polyester fabric coated with a high-grade vinyl compound. Can be trimmed with scissors for custom sizing. Highly recommended for vehicles without luggage racks.

The pad worked great. I placed my luggage carrier on the top of the pad and then strapped down the carrier. The carrier did not slip for the duration of our trip. Prior to using the pad my biggest problem with my luggage carrier would be it slipping during our road trips. I'm Sold.

Rich E. from New Haven, CT

It protected the roof from damage but kept bunching up under the car carrier when it was empty. Would be better if it stuck to the roof better.
