This is the second best of these saws that you can possibly get. The best is the "Oyakata," which is amazing, and this saw is only slightly less good. Clifton Montieth, who has been making rustic furniture for twenty five years and has pieces in major museums across the country swears by this saw, and now I know why. I have owned and used this saw for some months now, and feel qualified to offer a review. The saw is very well made, fits the hand well and is sharp. The saw locks securely in two positions, and it is easy to make accurate cuts. Completed cuts are clean. Hard, soft and dead wood can all be cut with ease. There is a hole in the saw for a lanyard, which can be useful if working up in a tree.
