Window Feeders
Window bird feeders bring wild birds into the comfort of your home and are a great way to observe our feathered friends "up close and personal." Window bird feeders are often placed in kitchen or bedroom windows and are more convenient than other types of feeders.
There are two types of window bird feeders: those attached to a window and those placed inside a windowsill. Feeders attached to a window are attached to the window via suction cups or Velcro and are typically smaller than windowsill feeders. They will fit any size of window. Windowsill feeders, however, extend into the house through an open window and have side pieces to close off the open space on the sides of the feeder. They will only fit certain sized windows, but have larger seed trays that will hold more seeds and accommodate a larger number of birds. Some even have one-way mirrors that allow you to see the birds feeding (but they can't see you).
